Job Description

JOB PURPOSE

 

·         Effective performance of the analytical tasks under the guidance of Senior/Vice President;

·         Ensures that all technical aspects of work, including the development and/or assessment of financial models and valuations are done according to generally accepted best practice;

·         Supports BU Head and Senior/Vice President with general tasks related to the BU or other areas of the Corporation, including but not limited to the development of Strategy, Business Plans, Budgets, Formats, Reports, presentations and any other information, risk or governance requirements. 

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Roles (Loans & Equity):

·         Effective performance of the analytical tasks allocated to them, under the guidance of the Team Leader and/ or the Head of PM

·         Ensures that all technical aspects of work, including the development and/or assessment of equity financial models & valuations as well as loans limit & financial covenant monitoring are done according to generally accepted best practice

·         Prepare regular equity and credit reviews

·         Address equity and loan portfolio audit matters

·         Assists Head of PM on special projects, as and when required

·         Takes keen and active interest and ownership of all tasks and allocated responsibilities

·         Willingly accepts the guidance and oversight of the Team leader or the Head of PM 

·         Shows ability to manage and prioritize various tasks and the ability to work well with all other team members

·         Shares information freely and shows willingness to assist others

·         Shows willingness to put in the extra effort and hours when work pressure requires

·         Supports Team Leaders and Head of PM with general tasks related to the Function or other areas of the Corporation, including but not limited to the development of Strategy, Business Plans, Budgets, Formats, Reports, presentations (in Arabic & English) and risk or governance requirements.

·         Debt related roles:

·         Perform new account opening, account maintenance and account operations

·         Coordinate and monitor transaction funding and loan transfers / drawdowns, with Corporate Finance, Treasury and Operations.

·         Address loan portfolio waiver and amendment requests, in coordination with Corporate Finance, Legal and Risks

·         Ensure monthly reporting of loan portfolio cash flow projections

Skills

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

 

1.       Appropriate Bachelor’s Degree (minimum) ,Post graduate degree is (preferred),  •   Relevant professional qualification (CFA, CMA, etc.) is (preferred).

2.       4-6 Years of relevant experience in financial institutions or in oil & gas company.

3.       Skills:

- Strong financial analytical skills

- Good understanding of legal documentation in particular for project and asset-based finance

-  Complex financial modeling

- Project Management

- Excellent communication skills, written, verbal, and presentation (Arabic and English)

- Strong leadership and Negotiation skills

- Good understanding of basic business laws and contracts

- Strategic thinker

- Ability to work with Executive Management/Board of Directors (internal & external)

- Strong business networking skills
