Internal Communications Lead Officer

Job Description

JOB PURPOSE:

To support APICORP’s Corporates Communications Function in leading and executing companywide internal communications and engagement strategy.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support the communications and outreach function with developing the internal communications strategy – including alignment with internal PAICORP stakeholders and in line Support the Director of Corporate Communications in developing and executing a strategy to increase understanding and confidence in overall business goals with the business strategy and direction
  • Lead the execution of several activities under the internal communications and employee engagement function, in direct collaboration with HR and the wider internal stakeholders’ groups within the organization
  • Lead the design and execution of the different change management initiatives and rollout of strategic projects and plans internally in direct collaboration with the different stakeholder involved within the organization
  • Lead the functional reporting for internal communications on a quarterly and annual basis, in line with the overall internal communication plan.
  • Work with the wider communications teams to ensure proper integration of overall communications strategy within the internal communications function, including content creation for internal channels, and develop new internal communications channels including LinkedIn and careers page on APICORP’s website
  • Lead on all logistics and execution related to internal events and key meetings including but not limited to town hall meetings, employee recognition events, various programs, employee gatherings and internal periodic events.

 

Skills

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • Bachelor's degree, master’s degree is a plus
  • Required: 0-2 years’ work experience, knowledge of digital platforms is a must, creative thinker, problem solver, can perform well under pressure, and ability to work with a highly diverse culture.
  • Technical: MS Office (mainly Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Language: excellent communication skills in English and Arabic
