Manager - Credit Risk

JOB PURPOSE   Assist the Head of Credit Risk in managing the Credit and Investment risk desk at APICORP by identifying, analyzing, measuring & reporting based on approved policies & procedures. Analyzing the proposed both Corporate Banking and Investments proposals, tracking credit risk limits and key risk indicators and managing analytical models & tools associated with credit risk. Senior Officer – Corporate Banking and Investments Operations

Job Purpose: - Contribute to the processing of Corporate Banking and investments transactions including Syndicated loans to ensure a smooth and timely execution based on the relevant operating policies, procedures and processes. - Support the management of relationships with banks and custodians. - Contribute, in coordination with the Corporate Banking and Investments Departments, cash management activities by managing cash, call, current and other accounts, including periodic reconciliation. - Ensure that periodic reports are accurate and of high quality. VP of Funding and Liquidity

Job Responsibilities:   §  Undertake an active role to fully support and coordinate with the Director – T&CM (Head of Funding & Liquidity) and other Senior staff of the Department in the collective efforts to maintain and further increase and diversify credit limits of APICORP from various Banks, Corporates & Financial Institutions. §  Maintain an active role in managing and controlling Treasury activities (including Multi-Currency Money Markets and Foreign Exchange), in particular those relating to Cash Management, Funding & Placements and Islamic Finance.  §  Ensure accurate and timely processing, recording and settlement of Money Markets, foreign exchange & Islamic transactions for Head Office (ie. money markets deals and Islamic Morabaha deals) in the Globus system. §  Maintain regular reports on cash positions, interest rates and foreign exchange movements. §  Extend assistance to Director, Treasury & Capital Markets to increase Money Markets limits of Head Office & Bahrain Banking branch in connection with establishment of new business relationships within the GCC region.
